Straight answers about Qlify

Learn what customers need, how businesses manage queues, and how Qlify keeps private information safe.

What is Qlify?
Qlify is a queue management service. Businesses use it to welcome customer check-ins, run live queues, coordinate teams, and learn from service activity at one or more locations.
Do customers need to install an app?
No. Customers open Qlify in a web browser, usually by scanning a location’s QR code. They can join and follow their status from the same phone.
What does a customer do?
The usual flow is: Scan Location QR → Join Queue → Waiting → Called → Show QR to Crew → Get Served. Show this QR code to the crew when requested. Customers do not scan a code to confirm themselves; only authorized crew can confirm a customer who has been called. An early scan does not change anyone’s place in line.
How does a business get started?
The usual setup is: Create Workspace → Create Group → Add Location → Configure Queue → Manage Queue → Review Reports. Every location belongs to one of the workspace’s groups, even when you begin with only one location. Adding Group Managers, Location Managers, or Crew is optional—the owner can run the complete workflow alone.
Can a location stop accepting check-ins?
Yes. The team can pause check-ins, set a queue limit, and choose when new check-ins close. Customers see a clear message when they cannot join.
What happens when someone does not respond?
Staff can mark a called customer as a no-show. A location can also choose how long Qlify waits before the queue moves on.
How do customers know they were called?
Qlify clearly changes the customer’s live status and may show a phone or browser notification. Customers should keep their queue page available and follow the location’s directions.
Can one business manage several locations?
Yes. Each location has its own settings and team, while owners can see the wider business from one workspace.
What can a business learn from Qlify?
Reports show queue joins, completed visits, cancellations, no-shows, wait and service times, busiest hours, peak queue size, team activity, and location comparisons. Authorized people can download the filtered spreadsheet data or save a chart image; neither includes customer contact details or private queue information.
Does Qlify show customer or staff information publicly?
No. This public website has no private business, staff, or customer information. Public queue displays use queue numbers and queue progress, never a customer’s identity, contact details, notes, or history.
Can Qlify be used on phones and with assistive tools?
Qlify is designed for phones, keyboard use, clear focus, helpful labels, and readable status updates. Businesses should also help customers who cannot use QR check-in.
